Cars launches in the first quarter of 2014
The year 2013 was not very good for Indian car market but automakers from all over the world aims at making 2014 a remarkable one through the Delhi Motor Show by introducing series of important cars in the market.
New 2014 Honda City is the fourth-gen sedan which will be available in petrol as well as diesel variants. The petrol model will bear 1.5-litre i-VTEC producing 117bhp and the diesel model will get 1.5-litre i-DTEC mill delivering 98bhp. Datsun Go is based on old Micra platform that will have 1.2-litre, three cylinder engines which has been tuned to yield more fuel efficiency.
Hyundai Grand i10 sedan is reported to be introduced on 4th February 2014 in both manual as well as automatic version. The sedan will be available in petrol guise that will be powered by 1.2-litre engine producing 81.9bhp and also in diesel guise which will feature 1.1-litre U2 CRDi engine delivering 70bhp.
Tata Nano Diesel is all set to unveil the diesel version at the 2014 Indian Auto Expo and is reported to be the country’s most fuel efficient car. It is expected to bear a 2-cylinder, 800cc turbocharged diesel engine delivering power output of 40-45bhp and will have fuel efficiency of around 35-40kmpl. Honda Mobilio is the Brio based MPV that will be launched in 2014 Indian Auto Expo. It has the same 1.5-litrei-VTEC petrol engine churning output of 117bhp, whereas the diesel model is powered by 1.5-litre i-DTEC engine producing 98bhp.
Mahindra Scorpio facelift has been updated on the exteriors as well as interiors. It will get the same 2.2-litre mHawK diesel engine churning 120bhp. Audi A3 sedan is the premium saloon expcted to be launched in 2014 Indian Auto Expo. The petrol guise will have 1.4-litre TFSI or 1.8-litre TFSI mill and the diesel guise will get either 1.8L or 2.0L oil burner.
