Cars to be unveiled at the Indian Auto Expo 2014

Indian market is witnessing slowdown, making it all the more important to keep the spirits high among potential buyers. Auto Expo is the best platform to showcase new and refreshed cars, here’s list to keep one informed. Maruti is expected to launch SX4 S-cross compact crossover, new SX4, production version of XA Alpha, hatchbacks Cervo, A-star facelifts and Swift facelifts. Honda has host of cars to offer like new City, new Mobilio MPV and Jazz and can also launch Vezel crossover. Datsun and Nissan plans to make a mark in the expo with Go hatchback and Go+ MPV and also the new X-Trail.


Renault can showcase Duster facelift and Renault Lodgy MPV. Toyota will probably house new Corolla and an update on the Fortuner. Fiat and Chrysler is expected to display new Linea/Viaggio and also Punto and 500 Abarths; Chrysler with Fiat is expected to unveil Grand Cherokee, Wrangler 3-and 5-door SUVs. Volkswagen Up!, Tiguan and new Beetle can also be showcased by the German carmaker Volkswagen. Skoda is expected to display VW Up! and the new superb too. Hyundai will bring the sub-4-metre Grand i10 sedan, production version of Hexa space, new Santa Fe and facelifted Verna to the expo.




Tata Motors can unveil face-lifted Manza sedan, Vista hatchback and updated Nano. Chevrolet can introduce fresh Trax compact SUV and Beat facelift to expo. An updated Scorpio and India-centric products such as SIV1 compact SUV is expected from Mahindra. Ford’s model Figo expects a replacement at the Expo. The all new A3 sedan, premium offerings like S7, A8 and S8 are much awaited ones from Audi. Mercedes-Benz is expected to display its all new S-Class, C-Class and CLA-Class this season. BMW might showcase 3-series GT, X5 and i3 this season. Jaguar Land Rover can reveal the F-Type Coupe, C-X17 SUV concept, 2014 Discovery and also the 9-speed Range Rover Evoque.
