Hyundai has upgraded its Verna which features a lot more than the earlier version. It has added new stylish and bold looks, which make it one of the most Fantastic looking sedans in its Segment today. It packs sporty looks and dynamic headlamps which add on the features. It has undergone a few cosmetic changes where the front end gets a new front grille, bumper and headlamps and the rear gets an updated bumper, tail lamps and a chrome tip exhaust.

There have been some changes to the interiors as well like the new twin-dial instrument cluster with chrome surrounds. The fabric on the Verna Transform has been changed and the Verna Transform offers good legroom for the front row seats. The car still lacks steering mounted audio controls which we see today in most of the similar cars today and also lacks air-bags facility. The Verna also comes with features like Air Conditioner with Automatic Climate Control, Power Steering, Steering Adjustment, Headlight off and ignition Key off Reminder, Rear Parking Sensors with camera, Power Windows, Integrated (in-dash) Music System with (AM/FM Radio, MP3 Playback,Bluetooth-iPod,USB compatibility) and six speakers .

The Verna comes with a 1.6-litre petrol and 1.5-litre diesel engine. The diesel engine comes with a four-speed automatic transmission while the petrol engine is of 1599cc and produces a 103bhp of power and a maximum of 146Nm of torque through a five-speed manual transmission. The car can dash to 100kph in just 13.0 seconds and under normal driving conditions; it returned an overall figure of 11.8kpl, which isn’t bad. The fuel tank capacity of the car is 43 Liters and the Length Width Height is 4370*1700*1475 respectively.

The Hyundai Verna is available in many colours such as Sleek Silver, Crystal White, Crabon Grey, Stone Beige, Phantom Black, and Purple Fantasia and it comes at a price tag of Rs. 7.11 Lakhs – Rs. 11.26 Lakhs.
