Renault Duster, Koleos and Fluence facelift launch slated next year

INDIA CAR UPDATES: Indian car market has caught the fancy of manufacturers across the globe as they plan to introduce new cars next year; however Renault India seems in no mood to flow with the tide and is reported to present its Indian buyers with facelift Koleos SUV, Fluence sedan and Duster. The new variants of the existing Renault Duster are expected to be launched at the next year’s Auto Expo and the Fluence facelift by mid 2014. The refreshed Fluence was showcased towards the end of 2012 in Istanbul Auto Show, it has been spotted while taking test rounds in the country and also in the company’s manufacturing facility in Chennai.



The Fluence facelift is reported to have redesigned headlamps, new grille and also a brand new LED running lights and a new front bumper. The French automaker is also expected to launch couple of new variants of the SUV in order to offer varied options to its buyers. Renault India has come a long way and currently ranks at the 12th position, thanks to the immense popularity of its model Duster. The bread-and-butter model Duster crossover is also expected to get a new AT and a 4×4 variant; it is also reported to have LED daytime running lights, double optic headlights, new grille, reprofiled taillights and a new body color. The new 1.2-litre TCe turbocharged powered Duster is reported to be paired with a six-speed manual transmission.

The facelifted Koleos SUV was debuted at Buenos Aires Motor Show this year and will be launched in Indian market by later half of next year. The Koleos model is an imported model and is expected to feature comparatively powerful 2.0-litre turbo diesel engine. Renault Koleos will also get new grille, redesigned front bumper, new alloys R-Link infotainment system, new leather upholstery, rear parking camera and many other exciting features.
